Please join us in celebrating the end of Marching Band Season with a celebratory dinner and slideshow. The dinner/slideshow will be on Thursday, November 10th at 6:00pm. The cost is $12 per person (including band members) with a family max of $60 (immediate family members). We are hoping family and friends can come and support all of the band’s accomplishments this season.

Cash, check, and Venmo (@bmmamusic) accepted for Payment. Please mention Celebration Dinner in the memo/notes.

A whole bunch of news and notes today:

• First, if you have pictures or videos to contribute to the video shown at the marching band’s end-of-season celebration dinner, please submit those here: https://forms.gle/bd3GXTFdJYnNz4tb9
• Second, money for the finals bus is now due. The cost is $35. This money helps to provide two coach buses for the students, staff and chaperones for the extended ride to and from MetLife Stadium in NJ.
• Third, tickets for New England finals in New Britain, CT on October 29th are for sale through BMMA. We have 50 tickets, first-come, first-served. Price is $18 from us and will be $20 at the door. Please see Lisa Gervais, NOT Mr. Shafer, for these tickets. Lisa is usually at practice around 5:30pm and is there for a bit.
• Last, but not least, we have a BMMA General Meeting on October 18th @ 6:30pm in the BMR Auditorium. Please join us to hear what is going on and have your voice heard!

The calendar raffle is ready to go! 100% profit-sharing! This week, students will be receiving packets of 10 raffles to sell. Tickets will be sold at $10 each. Complete the bottom portion of the page, cut and submit with payment. The purchaser will get the top portion of the page to follow along!

The completed raffle tickets AND payment needs to be received no later than Tuesday, November 1st as the first drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2nd. Raffle tickets will NOT be included in the drawing WITHOUT payment. Cash accepted. Checks can be made out to BMMA. If paying by Venmo, @bmmamusic, be sure that the purchaser includes “student name and raffle” in the comment section.

Drawings will occur on a weekly basis, on Wednesdays of the month, and winners will be notified directly. There will be extra packets available but only distributed once the original packet has been sold and turned in. You can also print your own, a link to the PDF has been included below for your use!

For the ease of financial accounting and to ensure that funds are deposited into the appropriate profit-sharing accounts, please put the raffle and payment, sorted one by one, in an envelope. Venmo raffles should be placed in the back of the envelope. Mark the envelope as “Raffle” with the student’s name, with the number of raffle tickets enclosed, the total amount of money in the envelope, and the total amount of raffles expecting Venmo payment. To the BMR Band Family and Friend Community,

The BMMA board would like to send a huge thank you for helping make the BMR Music Fest a success this past weekend. Whether you volunteered, donated food and supplies, or supported our amazing musicians your help is truly appreciated.  Without you all this event would not be possible! We had over 50 volunteers, so many donations we did not need to purchase much of anything and stands full of BMR band supporters. A special shout out to Dr. DeFalco, Mrs. Foulis, Mrs. Cotillo and the BMR Charger for supporting the students. Our musicians certainly do appreciate all the support!   With your help these young musicians and staff are certainly Baking Memories!

Revised schedule for this upcoming week (9/26 – 10/2)

There’s been a change of schedule for this week due to staffing issues and the FWH and BMR “Meet the teacher” nights.

In an effort to make this schedule easier for staff and parents, we are going to follow these rehearsals:

• Tuesday, 9/27: 6-9
• Wednesday, 9/28: 7:45-9
• Thursday, 9/29: 7:45-9

Report time for this Saturday’s practice: 12:45PM. Practice will be held at Millville Elementary School. Please drop your child off directly at MES.

Report time for this Sunday’s (10/2) show is 10:15 AM at BMR.
