The BMR Music Department had two students accepted into the Central District Massachusetts Music Educator’s Association Senior High Festival this year. These two students auditioned virtually through a video submission.
Not only did Tori Gervais (trumpet) and Amanda Vinacco (trombone) get accepted into the Senior High Festival, but because of their high scores they received an All State Recommendation which enables them to audition against the top musicians on their instrument in the state. Tori even received the highest trumpet score in all of Central District.
Tori and Amanda are representing the BMR Music Department in the best way possible, even volunteering to perform at a masterclass for accepted students on January 16th.
