I want to thank each and every person who helped make our show last weekend run so smoothly. It really warms my heart when I think about all the dedication and hard work that you all gave so BMR could host its own marching band show. I was told that several people commented on how friendly and helpful you all were.. Rich and Darlene, the site managers from Bellingham, told me that they were very impressed with how clean the facility was when we left. They noted that they saw several volunteers pick up trash off the ground, which nobody else does. I told them that band parents are a unique bunch.
Just so you know, even though I am “graduating out” of the program, I will still be around next year to assist Pete Olson, your new show coordinator, so next year’s Music Fest will be our finest yet.
