A new music calendar year is starting in May and elections will be occurring.

The elected officers of this Association shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and three Members At Large.  Officers are elected by secret ballot during the general meeting in May.  Both outgoing and incoming officers will attend the June board meeting.  The elected president will conduct the June general meeting.

Below is a brief explanation of each board member officer position.

President – Presides at all Board and General meetings, conducts meetings and has limited expenditure spending without board approval

Vice President – acts as an aide to the president and perform the duties of the president in the absence of that officer.  The vice president will serve as the record keeper of the membership and attendance.

Secretary – shall keep the minutes of the general and board meetings and shall perform such duties as may be delegated to this office by the board.  The written minutes will be made at the following meeting.

Treasurer- Shall be responsible for all treasury functions of the association; this includes all deposits, payments and monthly reports will be made available to association and board.

Three individual members at large – shall assist in decision making and expand the availability of the executive board to general membership.
