To all Music Fest volunteers,

I want to thank each and every volunteer for helping to make our band show run so smoothly. I am so grateful to all of you for all your hard work. The custodians at Medway High School are very impressed with both the size and scope of our show and with the respect we have for their facilities. BMR band parents are the best!

I also want to say that my youngest child, Dan, is a junior, so next September’s show will be his last one. I will need the next home show coordinator to step up to help me next year. There’s quite a bit of work, but anyone with some organizational skills can handle it. We will start the planning process early in the spring, so you have plenty of time to decide.

Also, most importantly, if you let us borrow items for the show, please come down to the band trailer this week when you are dropping your kids off at rehearsal or picking them up afterwards. Tuesday looks like rain, so Thursday might be better. If you need your stuff before then, please contact me, and I will make arrangements to get it to you.

Once again, I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. I have had several parents from other schools (even Dartmouth!) say that our show is their favorite one to go to. That’s all due to you and your dedication to keep strong the tradition of excellence that BMR Marching Band has carried for decades. You all should be proud.

Sincerely,

Wayne Arsenault
