I wanted to send along a huge “Thank you” to the Blackstone-Millville Music Association and to all of the parents who volunteered on Saturday for the Home Show. It takes an army of dedicated parents to host an event that accommodates over 500 kids and even more audience members. From the concession stand to selling air grams, every way that you volunteered made a positive impact on the success of the show. This music program and our students would not be where we are without the volunteerism of parents and family members.
A special thank you to Wayne Arsenault for running/coordinating the home show. There are so many working pieces to the event and Wayne has mastered them all!
An additional thank you to the Roy family for their “goodie/spirit” bags for the kids. I LOVED seeing all of our band kids walking around wearing their BMR head bands!!! (Many of the staff members were sporting them as well!)
